Sicily’s complex history has left its mark in the island’s architecture, its culture, and its customs, but nowhere is it more evident than in its cuisine. Join me for a taste of Sicily and discover the true flavour of this gorgeous Island.
Our Taste of Sicily tour start in the bustling capital of Palermo and wind our way to the foot of Mount Etna. On the way we will discover the amazing world of Sicilian wines, taste local delicacies, dine in a pilazzo, in a bustling market, we’ll picnic by ancient ruins, watch the sun set of the Valley of Temples. We’ll taste local chocolate, cheese, olive oil, nuts and so much more.
Expect 11 days jam packed with delicious delights and spectacular sights (including UNESCO and archaeological sites).
We’ll visit a local cheese maker preserving their local cheese, wander through local markets, visit ancient salt pans, get hands on with cooking classes.
This is a small group all-inclusive tour which includes all breakfasts, lunches and most dinners as well as accommodation in beautiful hotels, all excursions listed including two cooking classes, wine, cheese, olive oil and chocolate tastings. A driver, local guide and Kiwi tour leader. Trust us you will be well looked after!
